Join Lake Hickory Scuba for a magnificent weekend trip to the Florida Springs and snorkeling with Manatees in Crystal River!!

This trip will take us to two of Florida’s greatest springs, Blue Grotto and Devil’s Den.  Water temps are 72 degrees year-round at these springs and offer a great location for winter diving.  Meet Virgil at Blue Grotto, the resident soft-shelled turtle.  Each of these springs are also a magnificent location for some winter specialty training.  Sunday will take us about an hour to Crystal River to snorkel with the protected, endangered manatees. 

Hotel accommodations are at the Hilton Ocala.  This is more central to all our dive locations about 35 minutes from Blue Grotto and Devil’s Den and about an hour from Crystal River.  The hotel is located on a major throughfare with numerous restaurants within minutes.  The hotel also features a great outdoor pool (depending on weather), along with bar and restaurant. 

This trip will be led by instructor Jason Moretz.  Depending on students taking any courses, Jason is also an underwater photographer and will be taking shots of your dives for later purchase.

Trip is limited to the first 10 who register.  Registration must occur before Friday, March 4^th.

Saturday, March 12, 2022:  Dive Blue Grotto

Sunday, March 13, 2022:  Snorkel with Manatees in Crystal River
